Hi,

I got this ref. 146.017 De Ville Chronograph from 1969 and seeking info about its dial color. I haven't seen other champaign dials for it. Do you guys think it's a rare color variant or is it actually silver turned to champaign look by patina?

I saw some sources only list black and white dials for this model. But this one certainly isn't either of those.

Beautiful dial. It must have started out as silver (white) and aged to this warm and lovely 馃tint. More photos please!!

Woah, thats pretty. I too imagine that is an aged silver/white dial. That reference ages all teh way to pretty ugly yellow/browns, so this just seems lightly aged.

Fantastic watch, I hope you get it serviced and wear the crap out of it.

Thanks for the info and yeah, I think was lucky to get this condition one. Here some more photos. They are from the shop, vintagewatchservices.eu, I bought it from because Stian there comes up with these much better ones than I could with my phone.

Thanks, good to know. And I sure will give it the wrist time it deserves. It's now my favourite watch in my small collection. Wasn't planning on getting any more watches this year, but then saw it and had to pull the trigger, lol.
