Could this be fake Moebius 9010-B?

Here are the photos, and I didn't have any issues with evaporation etc. (it overflowed from the enclosure to the desk and the dots stayed as they are for a long time). Got this from China/Aliexpress 1+ year ago, which fuels my suspicion

Currently applied a dot onto a clear surface and throwing some UV light on it, and it seems to persist too, researching "Fake Moebius" online points to a potential fake that evaporates

I really wish I ordered a 9010-FL with my last Cousins order, and if I do now, my friend in UK is likely going to go crazy as this will be my 5th package just from Cousins, debating whether my worry is worth it 馃榾

I don't have the same oil, but I have a 9020 that came in the same metal container. It looks quite different compared to yours. Mine expires in 07/2027 though, so I'm not sure if they started printing different labels at some point after yours was produced.

Thanks for sharing that, I went for the 9010-FL - just checked my newer 9415 that's in the paper packages, came from a trusted Amazon seller / KD89.fr - the QR just directs you to the Moebius main page though, it would be cool if it was a random serial verification thing - so I suspect this could just be their new packaging too, and likely my 9010-B could be original as well

Despite the worries, whether it's valid or not, doesn't hurt to go for fresher oil, one more favor from an old friend 馃榾

Why is a friend involved? I just buy from the CousinsUK website and it shows up in the porch a week later. Couldn't be easier. I'm in the states, California in particular.

I've seen both style packages.

20% of packages are returned from customs, goes up to 100% if there is contention

It鈥檚 easy to be ignorant if your country doesn鈥檛 even tax packages, but for some countries it鈥檚 a challenge to receive packages, mine and as far as I learn, Philippines and most South American countries

Turkey is at least somewhat safe as all the rejected packages are returned, for the other problematic countries they are lost

In what country is this?

So if the recipient contests Customs charges, the parcel is automatically returned to the sender?

Not recipient, if customs hold packages, its pretty much guaranteed to be returned

Even if you show payments and the items are below the 150 euro limit, they usually argue its a for trade item and not for personal use

I don鈥檛 like arguing either as contesting means going against someones livelihood - as in, if they help you they can receive an inquiry, so stakes being on that level I just avoid incoming packages of any kind now if I can

Wow, that's unfortunate.

I occasionally experience frustrations with Portuguese Customs, but nothing close to that.

Yeah it affected me quite a bit a while ago, contributed a lot to my depression/anxiety that was intense for a while

But ultimately reduced my package traffic a lot, and luckily I have a lot of friends abroad who lessen the load

The big advantage of our hobby is how items have a very small volume, so a couple of watch parts, a watch etc. isn't that big of a deal

The negative side is this thread, only Aliexpress packages are free flow, and it's almost always a bad idea to buy stuff from Aliexpress if there are alternatives - best case you get B-quality stock
