Since my list of watches disassembled is already 4, and all are waiting on parts, I figured I'd pull apart this watch! This is the ONE I was able to convince my wife to wear to an Omega event, and turns out: It looses HOURS at a time. I timed it today, and it seemed ot lose 1 hour over 3 hours!

HOWEVER, the timegrapher says it is at +5s/d. I SUSPECT a loose canon pinion, but would love opinions.

The watch itself seems relatively untouched. It is running quite well despite seemingly never been serviced (and sold to me as 'unknown service history) with a mid-low 200s amplitude.

INSIDE was pretty dirty (it kept leaving black crap on my bench), but otherwise in great shape! Overall a very beautiful movement, and a great opportunity to give some watch photography a chance ๐Ÿ˜€ I picked up a Nikon 3200 with a macro setup (this is just a Tameron 90mm macro lens), so here it is!

Nice. Two new play things: a camera and a watch movement!
A lose canon pinion seems v likely...good luck ๐Ÿ˜€
