Connected Calibre E4 Factory Reset Watch is locked with password

Hello , got a CONNECTED CALIBRE E4 , that I am trying to do a factory reset, I put a password (not pin #) and don't remember it now, most of the directions online doesn't work. Does any one know the official factory reset procedure when the watch is locked and wont connect to bluetooth etc. need to be able to wipe everything out and start from scratch. watch is attached to my google account currently.

I have a similar issue, I remember my PIN and the E4 partially unlocks, then freezes on the settings option so I can't proceed to the software wipe and reset. Anyone know of a factory reset procedure that doesn't involve going into the settings menu?

Hi guys,

I had forgotten the PIN of my Calibre E4 and talked to customer service on the phone and they were very helpful. So I wanted to share the solution with all of you, since there is a recovery mode but the official documentation does not provide any help.

With the watch turned on, press and hold the crown and the bottom button for about 15 seconds. The watch will first restart and then enter Boot Mode.
  1. In Boot Mode, navigate between the available options (such as “START”, “Restart bootloader”, or “Recovery mode”) using the top and bottom buttons. Select “Recovery mode” by pressing the crown.
  2. The watch will restart and enter Recovery mode. The display will first show a red exclamation mark on a red background. To enter Recovery mode, simultaneously press the crown and swipe up from the bottom of the screen. If it doesn’t work, repeat the step.
  3. Once in Recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset” to perform a full reset. Note that this will erase all data that hasn’t been synced to your phone. After the reset is complete, select “Restart” to finish the process.
