Hi there, I'm new here so please forgive me. I am trying to post a WTB but it says I dont have the correct rights? How do I enable them? Thanks Mark.

Start by going through the rules of the WTB subforum - they are located in the top section of the subforum and are known as "stickies".

The challenge for me is reaching 200 meaningful ones.
I'm still hoping to get there someday. Posts like the one I'm writing right now probably aren't helping. 馃う

You are at 260, you are good to go. A newbie can ask questions, learn, read and participate. We all crawled before walking, then running.

What do you do for a crust, what part of the planet your sleeping at the moment, pets, hobbies we like to get to know people before we release our watches to them.
Think of it like a rescue pet, we just can鈥檛 let anyone take our wrist candy home without a bit of background. ( I wouldn鈥檛 want any of my watches to share a watch box full of Invicta鈥檚 )

Not really, I work for a german car dealer in the workshop in London. Posting 200 times is interesting before you can place a WTB post, I see why.

Someone mentioned asking questions, so I will. On another forum I'm on Ive asked a few and one guy said read through the forum and find out for yourself. Seems someones always upset with something. As 200 posts is easy to do I'll post away.....

I like how Omega will tell you where a watch was delivered to btw.

This seems an open forum where other brands are welcome.

You can buy from the classifieds with fewer than 200 posts, if you find something you like. Just send the seller a message by PM. In general, there's no need to actually comment in a sales thread.

I wouldn't say that never happens here, but it's more likely if you ask a general/common knowledge like how many turns to fully wind a speedmaster. If you see someone talking about a specific watch, ask specific questions about it. You might as well pick up some knowledge on your way to 200.

Yeh I agree. Theres no such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer.
