Hello,

Curious if anyone has the UG reference by Sala, interested in selling or perhaps knows where a copy may be for sale?

Thanks

Found one. Though not available on Hodinkee currently, there was a copy on ebay. Certainly if anyone has any other locations I'm sure it would be welcomed to list here. Cheers.

We all have it. It is a must if you are diving into UG. Augmented by the info here, you will be much less likely to make a mistake. I bought mine from HODINKEE but I like the idea of buying from the author.

I just ordered a copy as well. I definitely liked being able to order direct from the author so he gets the maximum benefit for his efforts.

Book was ordered Friday (in the evening over in Italy). Mr. Sala shipped it out on Monday. It was delivered here in the US today, so only 2 days from Italy. I wish all purchases went so smoothly! And the icing on the cake is that Mr. Sala was very nice to deal with; he is a gracious individual.

If you are contemplating purchasing this book, I highly recommend following the advice in this thread and buying directly from Mr. Sala. Not only will he get the maximum benefit for his efforts, but you will also have a chance to correspond with him.

Now all that is left is to read the book and start collecting UGs... 😁

My experience was the same; we had a very nice back-and-forth by email and he was tremendously responsive and professional. Now if only we could attract him to participate in this forum. 😀

Dan I like to imagine that he's been lurking all these years, quietly reading away with an espresso, and mentally 'liking' every single one of Lou's posts.

We should propose to Mr. Sala to publish an updated version of the book, I am sure that many OF members would love to provide him photos of their UGs to see them published.. To add a section on Polerouters would not hurt as well!

all he needs to do is read through the UG Sub Forum. Tons of update materials there.
