So i recently bought a B X S collab watch. I looks great it it feels great to wear it as well. I just couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the resale ir second hand prices ranging anywhere from like at least 600 dollars to 1000+ dollars as well. I don't know why it costs this much, does this mean anything, or is this just a scam from the other dealers?

If you bought it from the Swatch store, then everything is ok. If you bought it used or online, beware. I see the fakes bringing $80.

That's really good to hear. I bought it from a swatch store. It's pretty crazy how the scams are going. It just doesn't feel authentic if you buy anything online.

It's harder to get a real swatch than a real Omega. In the US there are fewer Swatch stores than Omega boutiques. Nearest one to me is 6 hours away, the OB is 2.5. But I'm told that a Swatch store is going in at the same mall soon.

Merely curious: where are you seeing prices like that on the secondary market? I suppose it's possible every single one sold on ebay for the last while is fake, but most are full-set and look awfully legit, and the average sold price is less than retail (there are also 40+ examples on C24 for under $500). I could absolutely be missing something, and this isn't a comment on the quality of the watches themselves, just the idea that they've become pricier on the secondary market, which I'm not finding any data supporting.

I bought a white snoopy moonphase last year, it had what looked like the correct box, papers, everything, and it was fake. Found out when the moonphase did not set. I complained and got most of my money back and kept it. Because you have to have it next to a real one to tell otherwise.

I've seen plenty of fakes as well. My question is literally only about where OP's seeing prices in the range he's quoting. I say this as someone who's bought several of them [and Omega/Swatch collabs] at the Swatch store in Minnnesota, where it's fairly easy to buy them retail.

Got to be ebay. People were trying to get 500 or more for the moonphase too. Search blancpain x swatch on ebay and see.

Jeez, people are actually trying to make a profit out of fakes. Who would by this stuff on a unofficial dealer
