Hello everyone, has anyone else experienced a reduce in battery life? I can't go no more than 8 hours before needing to charge.

The battery lifespan is about that for mine ...almost similar to the mobile phone ..

With the past two updates, my usual 20+ hours has busted out to about 30hrs now. It's insane but if I have a short work day I can go 3 days before charging. If you're getting 8 hours there's something wrong there. Having said that I'm a fairly light user - I only use it as a watch and seeing messages/calls. I will rarely use anything else except occasionally Strava....

i have just experienced something strange, i have the 41 and it just became very warm and went onto battery save. If i check the battery usage on the 'Wear OS' app it shows the battery level plummet, rather than a gradual decline. Up until now it has been really good, i will monitor and report back if i find anything. Cheers

3 days??? Wow! I don't think I could get that even if I were to engage airplane mode....

I have to say I am unimpressed with the battery life of the 41 🙁

We've been on holiday with a few long days in Disneyland.
Even with the battery saver option selected, and the watch set to not display the face permanently, it has failed to see the day out on three occasions in the past week.
I guess there is little that can be done about it, but I do feel as though I have not made the wisest purchase 🤬

And I thought we hand-winding folk made a bad choice having to remember to wind them every day 😁

Actually I frequently wind the automatics too just to make sure I don't get out of the habit.

The watch been on wrist since 8 am and now it's 19:12 and still got 62% 😀

Have you gone through the battery calibration process? Charge in full and allow it to completely discharge, then repeat the cycle (at least once) to allow the system to fully calibrate its battery use.

Hi Hubert,

Does the watch need to be unworn whilst going through the calibration process?
Each time it went completely flat last week it was fully charged, but I was wearing it throughout the day.

Any other tips for extending the battery life? Is there a way to tell which apps may be consuming power in the background?

Watch has been off my wrist all day on the charging pod, so I will wear it for a full day and then view the usage. I'll also view the previous posts as suggested.

I’ve had my 41 for a week now and the battery life seems to improve every day! I haven’t needed to calibrate the battery and it seems to discharge at about 3 to 4% an hour.

Off topic, has anyone purchased a spare charger?

Not as yet, I’m struggling to find one. The TH website doesn’t have them and none of the online jewellery stores even list them. Nothing on Amazon either.
