Does anyone know which years this watch was produced? From what I can tell it looks like a one year run in 2022… Does this not make it somewhat rare?

TIA

While the orange Aquaracer is a great addition to the lineup, I would not consider it rare whatsoever.

It was not a limited edition, and I would be surprised if anyone considers it "rare" in the future. It was widely available.

Understood. I was more interested in the years it was produced. Seems like a 2022 model only.

Interesting question, did not know they discontinued it. I think it'd probably have been produced into 2023 at least but if anything it may have been discontinued around the time they changed the Aquaracer design to the wave dials.

I think @Jemagloh is right though in saying that they are not rare - TAG produces a lot of watches. And in any case, rarity does not imply desirability or value so I wouldn't expect it to go up in value. But if you like it, then maybe it's a fun curiosity! I had one back then and enjoyed it for a bit before moving on.

It was released mid 2022, and definitely available in 2023, probably 2024 too.

Was still showing on the Tag website until recently. Most ADs have these for sale.

Shame the newer ‘in-house’ versions haven’t used this killer colour combo.

Definitely not rare, definitely not collectible, definitely not going to increase in value.

The majority of the WBP201_ series all seemed to be discontinued sometime after the new wavy dial WBP511_ series was introduced last year.

The only one that isn't discontinued (yet) is the black DLC white luminous dial "Night Diver" WBP201D.

I wouldn't be surprised if it came back, you know how they dribble the colours out over the course of the life of the watch.
