Windy claimed one of my vintage Omegas - the caliber 342 Seamaster with the white waffle dial - so Kyle was kind enough to sell me another. This one is 2 mm larger though. Mine on the left, hers on the right:

Why do I have the funny feeling that she'll want the new one? 馃檮馃槣

More pics when the light is better. It looks like a much bigger difference on the wrist than in the above shot.

I like the right one more but mainly because of the whiter dial, think she will too 馃榾

This might be worth a shot with the jewelry cleaner. I'm curious to see how well it works. Of course I'll be standing over it the whole time watching it under magnification for the slightest hint of any problem.

I would be happy with either....

I was happy with the smaller one. 馃檮

Larger one far more uncommon. Bill Sohne and I had this discussion some time ago and he told me that in his observation, for every 100 34mm versions there was 1 of the 36mm.

Isn't there also a 351 version? The Jumbos are cool watches, but the 34mm seem to fit my wrist better. 馃檨

I can wear 32 - 40 and up to 42 with an offset crown plus short lugs, but my wheelhouse is 34 - 38.
