Probably my most worn watch. December 1983 8123 Sports 100. Traveled part of the world and a few of the seas with this one. This picture was taken at the Porsche museum last August the Martinis meet.

Here's my midsize and my coworker with his... watch. He changes faces almost daily and that day we happened to "wear" the same watch haha!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ might as well throw this onto the thread as well. The original band broke and getting a new band was going to cost about as much as the watch itself. I ended up getting this band for my Seiko snk809 not realizing how cheap it was going to be. Turned out to be a good match for the calc watch!

I do! Quite a lot!
I‘m wearing this right now 😀

I‘m eying a Jacques Mayol as of late. I realy like the sleek design and the bracelet. But they are now trending towards 2k € and that’s quite a lot for a quartz watch.

Just ordered a nice ISO diver from Citizen. Quartz, solar power, Japanese..... fully embracing the horror!

Actually, if we're going to be coldly honest, if you want an accurate watch that will run with a minimum of maintenance and cost for a long time you logically have to buy quartz.

I only have a 3 quartz watches in my collection, (under 10%) but you're missing something if you don't appreciate the technology.

And for the Speedy guys... the Apollo command module wore an Accutron. Oops.... there's another can of worms opened up. And yes, I know early Accutrons weren't quartz, but they were electric.
