·Still blows my mind that things like this get sent off to goodwill. It’s not like it was a charitable donation to a children’s hospital- this was just dumped with the contents of grandpa’s sock drawer.

·It takes 30 seconds to search on the internet. Just goes to show that there are still a lot of people who think old watches are junk.

·I have been watching goodwill for quite a while. Everything gets bid up too fast there. I did get one watch from GW, just becouse I could. I was purchasing a lot of cameras and some lenses before I got interested in watches again. I did get close to a tissot rock watch, There was a wood watch the other day, but I forgot to bid on it. Now I am going to have to start looking for zenith. I do search zodiac from time to time.
I have noticed though on eBay, that the count of listed items has jumped by about 300,000 in the last month. With goodwill it is harder to know. I still think some of the watches I have came from GW through one of the dealers who would get them in bulk.
