·Meet a guy in Home Depot who was wearing a Hamilton Rodney.
After telling him nice Hamilton, he told me his story. The watch was his dad's. His dad bought it on consignment when he was 13. His dad worked for the railroad and was supposed to send all his money home, so he bought the watch on the side through a lay away. The son who was quite a bit older now, maybe retired, said the watch didn't keep good time but he wore it as a reminder of his dad. Of course that hurt, as I know it should be accurate, so gave him the name of a watchmaker and told him about HamiltonChronicles.
I don't see many Hamiltons in the wild. Fun time.
