Another financially irresponsible move

When the new KS were released I was very interested in the look of them but with the movement I thought the price was too high. I’m still up to the wee hours with insomnia sometimes I’ll seek out watches and I found a new K.S. model much under msrp in Asia.
I looked up the seller he was legit so I said wtf and ordered the burgundy dial. First off I didn’t realize the bracelet was collar and pins so it was a battle sizing it. I swore quite a bit. I noticed the burgundy dial looks cool in the sun but no sun today.

It’s certainly not a watch you buy thinking the price will skyrocket in the future but I mainly just seek things I like. It’s a very bright “happy” watch. Bracelet feels great and the shine and shape of the case really catch my eye. So nothing ultra special or valuable just a nice looking watch to my eye. Another no date which I think is good for certain dials.

Very nice! I really like the dial color, bracelet, and subtle texture on the 12 o’clock index.

Ah thanks ya there is a lot to like on these. It’s not a flimsy seiko 5 bracelet. I really like the vintage KS and GS. They are not impossible to find but there is a lot of shenanigans and Frankens. I just think seiko should have put a better movement in the new KS I didn’t realize there were deals on new ones. Plus it’s something different from a diver which I gravitate to despite taking them off before getting in the shower and not diving in years.

Lovely, I like these a lot but the price was putting me off, if they are coming in well under list I may have to have a look again, thanks for sharing 😀
