Post is already deleted but I have a screenprint. Funny story about a Jaeger which ended up as Cartier at an auction and was sold for 12k 😁

Another enigma emerged: https://www.ebay.com/itm/355890265655
- Obvious redial
- Numbered movement (which falls in a correct Jaeger range)
- Numbered lug
- Blank caseback

Says GP signed case and movement in the auction description, but unfortunately no further pictures shown.

Interesting one. Reference 12204. Serial 75x.xx2, which is - I don't think coincidentally - also the range of the LeCoultre Cartiers. Movement is described as a GP 281. Think this is a legit one albeit with a very poor redial. Estimate of EUR 6.500 - 8.000 seems optimistic. Interesting addition is a picture of a page from the Cartier book from George Gordon with a similar (ahum) watch
So this one is now confirmed with Cartier inventory number as well:

The aging of the Cartier signature goes according to the aging of the dial, and it also has the engraving on the lug, it could be genuine from my point of view, but the price for a Unisonic is too much, I think.
