An Unusual Glidelock Omega Bracelet with #23 Endlinks

Wanted to consult the forum on a watch bracelet which arrived the other day from Australia. It from the estate of a deceased watchmaker. Here are the photos:

This is actually the reason I bought the bracelet, I have never seen a 23 endlink, it is 18mm and seems to fit the standard fat lug Seamaster case. As some on here know, I have an interest in endlinks, so this is quite exciting (at least to me). My date table seems to indicate that it would manufactured in the early 60s.

Excuse the dreadful phone photograph, this is the clasp, it says made in the USA.

I have tried to show the clasp mechanism in these photos, it is something I have heard about in this thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-beads-of-rice-bracelet-with-sliding-clasp.80982/ there seems to be a couple of example on there, but none like this.

This last photo is of the bracelet itself, you can see there are dimples in the centre links on one side (they are also on the other side, but on the reverse, I imagine that one of the lengths has at some point been flipped). I have never seen a bracelet like this either. It also came with only a single endlink, so if anyone else has a #23 endlink who is willing to part with it, that would be much appreciated.

Does anyone have any thaughts on this bracelet? Do you think the clasp is original?

The clasp is original yes, and I think the bracelet could be as well.

During the fifties particularly with gold, watch brands did some custom and often unique things. Some of this happened at the jeweler’s shop.

The outer links look very Omega flatlink and the inner links remind me of this bracelet I own that is a slide clasp like yours. Only seen a few of them.

I have one of these, 11/16-inch un-numbered end-links.

Your right, I do like those bracelets, 8260 ref and 50 endlinks I believe?

Thanks for your input everyone! I am now more sure that the bracelet/endlinks are original. My next question is who is best to approach to fabricate a new endlink? Or maybe a #50 endlink would fit.

I'm looking for end links for a 8260 bracelet as well. Did you end up finding a place to buy some? I'm having trouble locating #50 end links. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the BOR bracelet with sliding clasp but un-numbered end-links.
I used it on omega ref.14381.

Looks good, although mine does not have the same BOR bracelet.

Did you ever find #50 end links for your 8620 bracelet? I'm still looking.

Have you any suggestions for getting a couple of links for this bracelet? Thanks
