Came with original box and paperwork dated 25/12/1967 bought from the original owner


Few wrong parts and well worn but that dial

Even had a price list from November 1967

14 and half hours round trip today to collect it never seen British roads so bad


Ipp post some better pics in the daylight tomorrow

Bank of England says 921拢, but watches weren't Veblen goods in the past.

Love that dial. Bezel looks well loved but not terrible. How is the rest of the case?

Buying from the original owner is great. I actually love the stories of how these watches were worn. I find most people who lived through the 60鈥檚 had way more interesting lives than me!

Nice watch. I was travelling Tuesday so you have my sympathy. Train strike and bank holiday is a bad combination / one country long traffic jam :0( at least you had a nice watch to time the trip with.

case has dings and scratches but unpolished the original owner was given as a 21st present and wore it daily then put away in the early 2000鈥檚
