Just spotted this in the wild. Shop has one for sale in the window but only on the nato!!

It is a nice watch for sure....should I buy and pick up bracelet later??

Does anyone know if the black bay black bracelet is the same?

Priced at 2570.

Thoughts my friends!!??

Had a look at it next to the black bay back. Didn't have calipers to hand obviously, but on the wrist, and to the naked eye, identical case architecture and 'feel' to me.

They did look different enough side to side for me to consider a purchase.

Need to resist the power of F.O.M.O kicking in....... Stay rational.

Wee update, have been wearing the GMT since I bought yesterday and it seems to sit a bit better on the wrist than the Black bay black. On closer inspection, there is some curvature on the underside of the GMT, which the black bay lacks, which may be the reason?

Incredibly comfortable on the fabric strap. Clearly legible dial, and a beautiful Pepsi bezel. Modern look with the dial and white lume with some vintage references thrown in, for example - the lack of crown guards

Absolutely love it so far and pleased with my purchase!!

You should be able to call your AD now and get one in a few weeks. I got on the list for the BB58 but am thinking about switching.

I called the AD (2 locations in greater Boston) today and was told that they don't have any and have 15-20 people on a waiting list and aren't taking any more names. I'll try a couple more tomorrow and see what they say.

Wore the GMT to work today. It goes well with a suit, and I feel can be nicely dressed up. Still loving the fabric strap.

A truly versatile watch!

I tried this on whilst on holiday recently (there's one in the boutique in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote if you're over that way. It was on the fabric (which I didn't like) but the salesman put another Tudor bracelet on it and offered to sell me the package for €3450. I didn't go for it but this is definitely on my to buy list.

I didn't want to take the fabric one initially either but as I had a black bay black, I thought I could just swap the bracelet around easily if I wanted (that's how I rationalised the purchase anyways !!)

However, I haven't felt the need to swap yet. The fabric configuration has really grown on me! Comfortable on the wrist and I like the aesthetic.

Will probably swap out at the end of the week.... I think it will look like a different watch!

It does. I bought on leather and then got the bracelet. Looks great on both (and nato) and is great to switch.

I’m going to buy the Tudor fabric too so I have the full set.

Love the watch. I sold a mint 16710 this year to fund a Daytona, and while I am certainly not saying this is a Rolex substitute, it’s a great watch in its own right and I love it.

Wow!!

Looks great on all those strap setups!!
Can I ask how fiddly it was to take the bracelet off and on?

Relatively straightforward, but as with all things easier with practice. I won’t say I’ve never scratched the bottom of the lugs as I have, it given I don’t look at that I’m not bothered.

I’d suggest investing in a tool (maybe 100-150 bucks) and give it a go with some tape on the lugs at first. Key for me is not scratching any of the visible bits.

Once you do it, you can change up to your hearts content...

I have a pair, but I actually find the single tools easier so do one side at a time. Once you get used to it, it’s a breeze but they are not quite as easy as omega bracelets to remove.

Just taking leather or spring bars for nato out, very easy.

If in doubt, am sure an AD will sort for you.

Cheers,
Steve

Great review on a very nice watch. I have been lusting for one of late.
