A positive case for the new Tudor BBGMT

Well there were no offers, no finance whatsoever. He even went as far as saying they just offer it to the next person! This was a local AD I was supporting. Was is the key word. And they wonder why larger chains get all the business! This was a prime rolex outlet too.
Anyway regarding the watch.... Love it! Feels great on my wrist and looks amazing. 12 month wait well worthwhile. I'm liking Tudor! My first. I also have eyes for the chrono s&g!

No question about the Tudor value. The Black Bay 41mm is the Perfect size, weight. And build quality.

This is an amazing watch. It has slowly but surely become my daily, replacing my sub. One thing I would like to add to the excellent write-up is the fact that the Tudor GMT looks almost exactly like the very first Rolex GMT which didn’t have crown guards or a cyclops, which in those days were an added option. I always think the Tudor gmt is an ode to the first Rolex gmt.

I’m liking the watch too - less fancy and more “tool” feeling than my Rolex Pepsi SS GMT II.

Now all I have to do is fine a Tudor bracelet for it.

I love this watch. I tried one on at a Tudor event in April and the value/quality is truly remarkable. I had to order one even though I will have to wait until March 2020 for delivery!

I agree. I am getting a ton of enjoyment out of my BB41. It has great build quality, it seems to be accurate to within 15-seconds a week, and it looks appropriate in both casual and formal situations. Overall, a great value.

I miss the old Rose logo vs the Shield logo.

I do too. I really enjoy wearing mine, but I think two minor aesthetic touches might have truly put it over the top: (1) the rose logo, and (2) if the same size hour markers were used as the standard BB41.

I would change it with (1) Rose Logo, (2) slightly lighter blue on the bezel, (3) bigger hour markers, (4) dark date wheel to match the dial with white numbers.

I’m sure you know anyway, but any Tudor black bay bracelet will be fine (it’s the same). Hopefully that may open up the search for you.

Also strapcode do some pretty good ones for the tudors so might be worth a look.

In the U.K. my local RSC sold me a bracelet as I had the leather version. Am sure an AD could do for you albeit it’s not cheap (was £600 in the U.K.).

Yet, one would think from your post that you must admire Chinese farmers if you married the farmer's daughter (or you dislike your father-in-law for his poor taste).

I would prefer a signed Tudor bracelet. Strapecode has some decent stuff. I have a few shark mesh bracelets to which I added the Strapcode adjustable clasp (kinda big and thick though). And I have one of their bracelets on my Seiko SKX173 which is nice, so I was considering them.

My BB Red came on aged leather, and I bought a 3 week old Tudor bracelet from an AD online for $450, but that watch and bracelet were traded towards one of my Rolex.

I’m definitely a huge fan of Tudor—I’ve had the Pelagos since 2015 (with their in house movement) and I wear it 70% of the time.
