Twice today, I have had instances when (AI ?) has replied to people I have sent emails to, giving totally incorrect information relative to what was said in the email. Is this possible? I have had one reply from one fellow who got both my email and the AI (?) generated email, and wondered why the difference in the included information! Is this likely an ongoing situation? Creepy!

Haven't seen it at my end.
I seem to spend an inordinate amount to time trying to negate Copilot, Ask Meta and all of the other bloody AI "helpers" that only help me to become more determined to get rid of them completely.

What concerns me is the chances of AI sending an email to someone in reaction to an email I have sent to that person, which contains totally incorrect content. My one contact today that received one email from me, then another email generated by A I which was seemingly from me, and which had information totally contrary to my original email. Gives me the creeps!

There seems to be miscommunication somewhere. I don’t believe you can set auto respond with ai to specific, technical inquiries. Big tech email services can suggest a draft respond, but not a reply without your approval.
