路路Omega Qualified WatchmakerA while back I saw a nice manual wind Seamaster on the sales forum, and I made a deal with the seller, and it arrived not long after.
It was most certainly in need of service, so here disassembled:
Service went well, and it's keeping time well. Case was in nice condition, but I wanted to see if I could get some water resistance, so new case back seal of course, and I replaced the worn out case tube:
Serviced and back in the case:
Case back is in good shape:
It had a nice big generic crown on it, but wanted a proper Omega one with a new seal:
And that case work paid off, as it passed the pressure testing:
Looks good - crystal was genuine and in good shape:
And she loves it of course:
Even if she didn't like, I liked it enough that I would wear it certainly!
