844 Quartz question

Hi. Can anyone tell me if the face of this watch is correct? It looks ok to me but concerned it should have made in France at 6 O'clock if its the second iteration of this watch. Any advice greatly received. Many thanks. Nick

If you search the forum for 844, or "Monnin" (or maybe Monin), then you'll find a few more discussions about the early 844 models with plenty of information.

I "believe" that some early faces may not have had anything written on them - but like I say - check the information in the other discussions.

That's my thought too, but I'm no expert on 844's.
I do know there are a lot of variations so definitive is probably flexible!

My major concern with this one is the "Quartz" text on the bottom. I'm almost certain that these early ones were not offered in quartz. Not to say that I haven't seen them offered for sale before.
