Nothing like seeing a watch used as she was intended in spite of the proper dive equipment.

Bravo!!

That was a fantastic set of pictures of a watch actually being used for it's intended purpose. What is next? A Speedmaster on the racetrack? A Railmaster on the railtrack? Who knows where this may end

Really terrific post and pics. As everyone else has said, it's so great to see such a classic contemporary dive watch being used for actual diving. That's what they're designed for. I'm going on my honeymoon in Jamaica in a couple of weeks, and while I won't be diving deep, I will definitely go snorkeling with my SMPc 300m. I'll try to take some pics to post when I return ... Thanks again for the great review! (Now if only I could stop thinking about buying the new 300 ...)

Great pics and a great looking watch. I think they absolutely nailed this one. As you said it looks great for formal or casual occasions. Enjoy.

Great post! You make a strong case for this to be my next watch. It's on my list, but now it may be at the top.

Great photos!
I too am guilty of owning a dive watch but being too careful with it to dive at depths. Ha we are weird people!

It just occurred to me that this review was originally posted a year ago ... I now have a SM 300 MC (inspired in part by the photos here) and I totally love it. Everything in this review is dead-on accurate - an outstanding balance of classic and modern.

Very cool! I wasn't sold on these at first (I favor the 45mm PO case size). My father picked up the 300 in Sedna Gold and it immediately changed my perception on the watch and case size.
