LesXL
·I have been wanting one of these for quite some time, and had a good opportunity from a trusted seller a few months ago.... After some budgeting, I finally pulled the trigger.
It is my most expensive watch, and I was quite cautious, or timid to transact. Not that I didn't trust the seller, but rather that I wanted to be reasonable for once on first selling to fund it... Letting go a couple more watches wouldn't hurt 😁
All that preface to introduce my first Longines 30CH, reference 7412-6, caliber 530.
Not the perfect specimen:
- the obvious is the second hand not being correct. Yet not unpleasant to my eyes either. Hunting for a correct one.
- the pusher are quite worn out, hunting for better ones.
- Case is a bit soft but it is a old lady. It doesn't bother me much
But despite the "small" imperfections, it is a beauty to my eyes... And I guess that's the main thing.
I'm not a purist, or rather, my wallet can't afford to be one!
The movement (530) is a beauty to look at, the dial is almost clean. The size fits nicely my tiny wrist, and cherry on top, it's a Longines 😀
Here is the new addition to my collection:
