Tks for suggestions.......I have a GMT that I use for second time while travelling which is very useful but not as primary time. Also want a date function.

The Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute is very nice. Looking for a vintage version. Do they have date function.
Yes some do. I know the modern ones do. Not sure about the vintage ones. I know most of the vintage ones I see are no date.

The new Aqua Terra and the new Seamaster both have variations with 24-hour GMT hands. They're not true 24-hour watches but they will display the time in 24 hour format.

The Soviet Raketa, Poljot and Vostok brands issued true 24-hour watches (link here) with modern versions here. It's something of a Russian specialty, both past and present. And you could twin one with the Glycine Airman for a Cold War set.

There are 24 hour watches in the Glycine collection other than the Base 22, such as this very complicated limited edition D 24 09. They can track four seperate time zones and do come up for sale occasionally.

Orient also do (or did) a number of 24 hour options: fully 24 hour 'military' watch; 12 hour with 24 hour subdial; 12 hour with extra 24 hour GMT hand and outer chapter ring...It's no wonder their catalogue sometimes looks like year-end project of an industrial design course.

Probably because the OP asked about 24 hour watches and GMTs are not purist 24 hour watches.

Explorer II in the early executions are not GMT. Fixed bezels and 24 hour hand is locked to the 12 hour hand.

Unless I'm massively wrong the 24 is not a GMT on the early ones.

Fair enough, but still not a purist 24 hour watch. Both of the watches that the OP mentioned are, so I assumed that is what he is after. Perhaps the OP would care to elucidate.
