EDIT: Yes, I'll pick that up during the GP. 😆
Perfect watch to be wearing while you watch the race from your VIP seats!

Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Pictures do not do the Vegas Monaco justice. This is one that truly needs to be seen in person, as the colors dance under various lighting shifts. I went from "meh" when I saw a photo, to "WOW" when viewing it live.

WOTY?
Certainly, deserves to be in the running IMHO.

I think its chances may depend on how many can actually see it live or how well the photos/videos show it.

When I saw a photo, it was just like any other Monaco skeleton, but in a different colorway. Seeing it in person put it on a different level. Having said that, if actually making a buy decision, I'd choose the white Monaco Gulf. (But you know, that's me. LOL)

WOTY is basically a popularity contest. From my casual observation on this forum, the F1 Solargraph is the most commonly purchased watch in 2025. Albeit in different colors, which will probably split the votes and lower its chances.

Now I am intrigued to see it in the metal because I was not wowed with the renders

Blue rubber.
Because it’s getting dark over here, I can’t judge the ‘blue difference’ yet. With artificial light, it looks fine by me.

I have to thank Chris. (Manager of my local boutique) He said it was difficult to order the FT8105 separately since I don't own a WBY1162.
It's interesting that the packaging says BT0048.

My red FT8085 strap (with black buckle) from the “McLaren” WBY1160 also came as BT0039… so this 'BT' code is probably the one for the complete strap+buckle package

Yes I confirm: BT is a combination of a strap (FTXXXX) + a buckle (FCYYYY)

Probably helps to have the steel case inbetween too, to hide any slight difference

Showcase all 6 LEs, favourites will be Sg GP and Silverstone GP after exposure test. They have popping colours yet subdued at the same time.

Mexico GP and Monza are really popping if u guys are into presence.

Miami is very stealthy and Barcelona not bad with its unique dial, maybe with a SS bracelet would do better.

So, word on the street is that the pink Formula 1 Calibre 16 is on its way
