New Limited Edition released today: the Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed CBN2010-NS

From the press release:
10 June 2025
TAG Heuer is proud to announce its return to the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed as the Official Timekeeper, reinforcing its legendary connection to motorsport.
With deep roots in racing, from pioneering dashboard chronographs in 1911 to today’s elite timekeeping, TAG Heuer has long partnered with legends like Porsche, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Indy 500, and more. Goodwood now joins this storied lineup.

A Watch to Recognize a Symbiotic Partnership

To celebrate the return of TAG Heuer to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a special watch has been created paying homage to the relationship.
Taking the renowned TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph as its basis, powered by the in-house TH20-00 movement in a 42 mm case, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed plays on codes from British automotive culture.

Featuring a dial in British racing green inspired by the eponymous Goodwood Green and sophisticated hobnail texture, complimented by red accents, and a brown leather rally strap that speaks of the golden era of motor racing in the 1970s, the watch will be a limited edition of 100 pieces that will be initially offered to Members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club, before going on general sale.
Sapphire case back printed with Goodwood FoS logo Engraved "XXX of 100"

Estimated SRP
6,450 GBP

Cool!

I wonder if this is a "scared cautious afraid to draw any attention" kind of green that looks black almost all the time or if it is an actual green dial

Right, in typical British fashion.

I really like this, actually. Normally I’m iffy with green but I have a few clients I know that would love this piece too

Sadly it’s NOT coming to the US market 😭😭

Goodwood Racing Club members get exclusive first dibs. With only 100, I highly doubt these will be coming to anywhere.

Yeah I saw that second bit and got more sad 😭 Lol

I asked around our corporate teams and they basically told me there’s next to no chance too

My guess is they won't sell all to members, I remember a Speedmaster Porsche club of America LE of 99 which I inquired about and could have bought but decided not to.

Was the Speedy PCA you inquired about new & direct from the original source, or being resold "as new"? IIRC, that one was quite expensive, this one isn't too bad.

I'm a long time PCA member. The one I recall and regret not getting was the Monaco 55 years of PCA. Those completely sold-out and were only resold "as new" (typically with a premium).

Mailaddress was [email protected] which I think I got from the PCA site, so direct to my knowledge.

Price was 13k USD.

OK, that makes sense. I believe the PCA watch collabs were only available via PCA (and I thought only to members). It's just that those Omegas took a really long time to completely sellout via PCA, which is maybe why they then opened things up to non-members?

In the case of this Goodwood FoS Carrera, I guess it depends on how long they give club members first chance before releasing any unsold to other TH outlets.

Went back to check the date of the mail correspondence back and forth, only 2 days after the press release (Hodinkee Dec 8th) so pretty much at the start.

It was a big watch with a pricetag that goes with it, so not surprising they didn't clear out immediately.

Oh, so it was open to the public from the get-go it seems. Kind of apples and oranges compared to this Goodwood release.

I'm pretty sure with TAG I've officially turned the corner past 'I like it but wish it either had a full running seconds register or none at all' now, to 'for the price they're asking it shouldn't have such a major design drawback'

Too much other good stuff out there for the same (or less!) that doesn't require you to pretend you don't mind something so visible

I'm so used to the running second hand that I never notice it until you bring it up again! LOL

But the deletion of that register is a hallmark of some of my favorite H02 models (e.g. Viceroy Autavia, Hodinkee Dato and Team Ikuzawa).
