Oddly the steel one is limited to 3000 but the Cal16 isn't...

Here's a live pic of the Cal 16. The dial has a slight sunburst effect to it, which the renders don't show well.

I like this one better than the quartz, if only because the 'helmet' subdial on the quartz looks a mess.

The other strange thing is the box for the quartz says "Special Edition", according to the TH website. But it's supposedly a 3000 piece "Limited Edition", with One of 3000 on the caseback.

You get a cool carrying case with the Cal 16's box. Another nice touch that doesn't come with the LE quartz model.

I really love the Link bracelet on the quartz. What a cool touch.
Yes, but it’s not new for this model. Since 2015 some Formula 1 and Carrera Senna Editions come with the Link bracelet (a tribute to Ayrton’s S/el), like my 2016 Formula 1 (CAZ1015.BA0883)… which I still prefer over this new quartz Formula 1 😉

That looks massive, or is it on a particularly tiny wrist?
Looks very much like my wrist. Most watches are too big these days, and modern TAGs particularly so, although I'm sure this looks slightly better from a distance. Close-up shots always have a habit of making watches look too big.
