it seems my date in the window favors the left hand side and isn't directly center. Am I too OCD?

Never buy a watch with a Heuer 02 movement. It will drive you insane.

Although this is solid advice about the Heuer02, the Aquaracer in question is actually not powered by that movement

This would bother me too! Unfortunately TAG are infamous for not aligning the date wheel properly, many entry level luxury watch buyers don't seem to care (or are very old senior citizens aged 55+ with terrible eyes). I would yell at the AD who sold me the watch and see if they will fix it. I had a date magnifyer misaligned on one of my Aquaracers and they did fix it for me.

I'm a very old senior citizen aged 56 with bad eyes and I could live with that date wheel. Your bezel however is lined up a click out and that would drive me to distraction 😉

yea didn't notice that ( the bezel 12 o clock line up, corrected that myself) i am 55 years old with glasses . i will go back into the AD and see if the others are same. other than that I love the watch but this is bothering me.
be nice if anyone else that has the same would post a pic of their 2 number date window.

I notice the hands are at 11 o'clock. Is that 11pm? If so the date wheel may already be moving towards changing...

Yes, I see how Dwight could misunderstand my reply... what I meant was, if you think this is bad, look at a Heuer 02 Carrera.

ok moved hands to 12 to flip the date
fresh flipped the date again and now looks ok. Maybe it moves slightly as time goes on before the final date flip.
My wife just said I am fking nuts, my old Rolex never did this. now it looks ok at this moment....

Some brands/movements have instant date change others semi instantaneous, yours is the latter.

Some old Seiko's with two language day/date start moving about 10.30pm and don't complete until around 3am. You get mislignment and even correct date but wrong day for an hour or so.

The old 1/10th second quartz chronographs fitted in Kiriums (for example) take ages to change date too.
