I was talking about the general case, not this watch specifically
Then yes. I think so... but, they could possibly argue that somewhere there's an AD who still has stock and who is selling the watches at the 'new' prices. I mean, there's always places like airports where you see really old stuff and think 'I can't believe they still have that'.

2018. I saw Grand Carreras in Geneva airport!
Ah yes of course 馃憤馃徎

For us poor schmucks airports are the worst places to be so you're doing the right thing to stay away. For billionaires like Huberto the story is of course completely different, flying private jets and not having to queue with low income people flying regular.

It would be interesting to know how they would sell the H01 if they found some in a cupboard, would it be 拢4000, reduced from 拢7500? 馃槵

A couple of years ago they had a couple of Kiriums someone found in a drawer... I wonder how they came up with a list price for that? CL111A was about 拢1800 back in 2004, so applying a 5% per year increase should have made it about 拢6400.

LOL

Actually, it's interesting to see what happens in the outlets. When I first started visiting they were really random, with some properly good deals. But once the market took off the ADs didn't want to sell unsold stock back to TAG so they made a decision to have a sort of 'outlet range', which is why it's pretty useless for regular shoppers these days (because the target market is casual luxe buyers / tourists in these places).

Now the market is turning the other way, it could be that ADs start wanting to dump unsold stock again, so maybe outlets will once again be worth keeping an eye on. Mainly for newer stock though, given what we've been discussing in this thread.

A year or two ago the New York boutique had some of the late 2000s / early 2010s Monzas. They were asking full-on new TAG pricing which was funny to me considering they're all over the place used for like $2k
