That looks exactly like the 40th Anniversary. I can't see a difference.

I'm quite sure the back will be different since it's not a "special edition", so I believe this one will have the see-through mechanism like the other vintage-themed Calibre-11s.

Interesting; so the (mass) "Production" model number will be XCAW211P, whereas the 40th Anniversary was CAW211A.

They're chalk and cheese! The 40th anniversary has an applied silver date window, whereas this one is painted white 😉

I also wonder if the shade of blue is the same. Impossible to know unless you had them side-by-side, but it looks like this new one might be a shade darker?

You might be right David, however it could very well just be the lighting or the camera.

Is the release still November?

Their article calls it the:
2015 Heuer Monaco Calibre 12 Blue Dial Heritage Collection (we don't even know the official name yet)
Technical features remain essentially the same (Calibre 11is in fact now internally coded as Calibre 12)
But the video posted above shows the label on the mechanism as a [modern] "Calibre 11":

Do we know what number will the production model have?

Has pricing been released yet?
I wonder how this will affect the used value of 40th anniversary models?

I don't know, but would expect that this will be called the Calibre 11..makes the most sense. Pricing is apparently just under EUR5000...very sharp

Here's another photo from Japanese retailer Eye Eye Isuzu- reporting a November on sale date

I agree David; if their intention is to avoid "confusing the customer", then renaming this now to "Calibre 12" makes no sense at all. Therefore, I also believe that the model shown in the video is what we'll get in November.

My other thought is that possibly moving forward all the "Vintage themed Heuer" Monacos will contain this case and movement, while the "modern" versions will have the new case and evolution shown in the new "panda" edition.
