That is a great image! Is that your watch, or did you capture the image elsewhere?
It is the image of the reference 20501 from the UG production records.

I didn’t know there were such records! Does that mean 20501 was a model unique to these award watches? (My guess, given the size of team rosters back then, is that only a hundred or so were needed for the game)

I'm not that familiar with this model but it seems very unlikely that the 20501 reference was only used for these Sugar Bowl dials. A brief internet search reveals a handful of 20501s with earlier serials (noting that your serial of 1'352'xxx puts yours in exactly the right period).
