Not personally interested in this but came across on a dealer's site. Sometimes I miss things not FS on forums or reddit so thought I would share. Price a tad high (I think?) but looks in amazing shape and movement was warranty!

"Stainless steel vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual, circa 1930, has a 29mm tonneau-shape case, screw-down coin edge back and screw-down crown, matte silver dial with subsidiary seconds and Arabic hour markers, 17 jewel movement warrantied by Aaron Faber for 1 year. The case is signed ‘Oyster Watch Co’, one of Hans Wilsdorf’s early acquisitions, circa 1926."

Oh sorry also admittedly haven't done a lot of research into other examples to be able to spot proper patina / replacement parts.

I don't know much, but I do know that's not a tonneau-shape case.

Oh, and there's something dodgy going on with the springbars.

I wouldn't touch it for that price and only four washed out photos to base my decisions on.

It is not 30s, it has a terrible redial, and is hugely overpriced. Also what kind of dealer cant even get a strap which fits? Stay well away.

I agree with Lucas.. It's been redialed and it's from around the 50s... Worth under a grand in my opinion

I was on the bay lastnight and there's one just like it for $750 I think.. The one on the bay I believe is a redial also but the price reflects it

Brings a lot of discredit to the seller… If he had credit at the beginning anyway

I've been to Aaron Faber and their prices are quite high to pay for their 5th avenue Manhattan rent. Besides the lack of yellowing on the dial, the hour indices marks extend past the track and the subseconds hash marks hit the 7 and are further away from the 5. The syringe hands should also be full of radium if they were original, and the dial would have radium as well. 29 is also a ladies' size, the men's bubbleback was a 32 up to a 34 later when the date was added

The two tone is being serviced, the 24hr has recently been returned.
They were part of a $3.2k 'bundle'
